There are many chemical processes that could use photo-activated catalysis, e.g. water treatment. It is rarely used as contacting the light, liquid and catalyst efficiently, and recycling the catalyst is difficult. Floating catalytic particles solves all these problems, opening up a sustainable and easily recyclable route to efficient catalysis.
