Marine Current Turbines is the first mover and world leader in the tidal current turbine sector. We installed the world's first commercial scale tidal turbine, the 1.2MW SeaGen in Strangford Narrows Norther Ireland in April 2008. Today it is the world's first and only officially accredited tidal current power station.
